John died August 1st, 1922 at Spronketts farm, Bolney, Sussex. Probate was granted on September 27th, 1922 to Elizabeth Hogsflesh [f.7.4.2], widow & Walter Greenfield, farmer. John’s effects were £997.6s.5d.
Daughter Kathleen married Willie A Austin in July-September 1934 in Horsham. In 1939 Kathleen was living at 4 Woodfield Terrace, Horsham with 2 children.
The 1939 register shows widowed Mary living at Church Lodge, Cowfold & with her was daughter Mary. Mary was to marry Stanley Arthur Green in Oct-December 1945 in Rugby.
Son John was working as a cowman tractor driver in 1939 at Pinehurst Farm, Uckfield & was single.
Mary of Church Lodge, Station Rd, Cowfold, Horsham died on October 23rd, 1963 at Shoreham Hospital, Sussex. Probate was granted on December 6th, 1963 to John Fry, farmer, & son-in-law Stanley Arthur Green, butcher. Mary’s effects were £1,025.
